If you have decided that you are interested in taking the next step towards becoming a freemason and joining the Southampton University Lodge then below are some key points to consider before you apply, though it is easy and simple to apply you may want to consider that there are two prerequisites to becoming a freemason.

• You must be male and 18 years old or over.
• You must have a belief in a supreme being.
